Automatic Microreaction Hydrogenation Platform

Micropacked bed technology significantly enhances the gas-liquid mass transfer coefficient, resulting in more compact equipment and intensifying the hydrogenation process. This advance greatly shortens reaction times.
The reactor has a small volume and includes inherent safety features.
For trace samples, the system can operate without passing through a gasliquid separator. Additionally, for fast sampling, a suitable gas-liquid separator can be selected based on application requirements to gather raw data for process scaling.
Three column sizes are available for selection: 6 mL, 10 mL, and 20 mL, making it suitable for both heterogeneous and homogeneous hydrogenation applications.
The system can operate at a maximum reaction temperature of 200 °C and a maximum pressure of 10 MPa, accommodating a wide range of hydrogenation needs.
This technology enables the rapid development of hydrogenation processes and efficient catalyst screening, improving overall process development.
The high-throughput version allows for the customization of kilogram-scale products.
The compact design allows the equipment to be placed in a fume hood for operation.
It is equipped with an inline UV and Fourier mid-infrared detector, enabling real-time monitoring and analysis.
The system integrates active safety protection schemes with passive measures, ensuring safer and more reliable operation of the instrument.

Features

  • It can be connected directly to a hydrogen cylinder. You can also choose a high-pressure, high-purity hydrogen generator.

  • Full control over the entire hydrogenation process to avoid differences from batch to batch.
  • By shortening the reaction time to within 3 minutes, the hydrogenation process is improved.
  • The reactor is small, and the device is inherently safe.
  • It can screen conditions, prepare products on scales of milligrams and grams, and evaluate catalyst life.
  • A sampling port allows real-time sample collection.
  • The high-throughput version allows for kilogram-scale product preparation.

  • The instrument is small enough to fit in a fume hood.
  • With a maximum reaction temperature of 200℃ and a system working pressure of 10 MPa, it is suitable for a wide range of hydrogenation applications.

  • When combined with inline UV-visible and Fourier mid-infrared spectrometers, real-time inline monitoring and analysis are possible.
  • An optional inline automatic sample collector can save the trouble of manual sampling by collecting hydrogenation products at regular intervals.
